Brushing Up on Data Structures & Algorithms... Again 😅

So, I decided to revisit Data Structures & Algorithms (DS&A) after about three years of not touching them. Back in college, I felt like I had a pretty solid grasp on them—but wow, was I in for a surprise.

Turns out, if you don’t use it, you lose it. 🫠 I found myself struggling with concepts I once thought were second nature. It really just proves that repetition is key, no matter how good you think you are at something.

The Struggle is Real 💀

One thing I noticed is that while I still kind of remember some topics, my understanding is mostly surface-level now. And honestly? That’s a bit disappointing. I love learning new things, but the downside is that my brain just… forgets a lot of old things too. 🧠💨

Now, here’s where I’m torn:

• Do I dive deep into DS&A again?
• Or do I just review the essentials since I mostly focus on web development (which doesn’t require heavy algorithms anyway)?

At the same time, I’m starting to explore AI model fine-tuning for a passion project I’ve been thinking about. And let’s be real, DS&A knowledge is a solid foundation for that. 🤖💡

Learning Without Pressure = A Breath of Fresh Air ☁️

One thing that’s making this whole refresher course less painful is that I’m learning at my own pace. Unlike in school, where I had deadlines and exams hovering over my head, this time, I’m actually interested (even if it still gets boring sometimes 😆).

I guess that’s a small win? 🎉
